BE AN ACTIVE PROCTOR
As you well know, Regents/RCT exams begin on Tuesday, January 26. These are high stakes exams for our students so we need to be at the top of our game with our proctoring – in the classrooms, on reserve and the hallways. It would be a HUGE help if you could remind all students on Monday about not having cell phone and electronic equipment on them when they are taking their tests and to place these devices in their lockers.
REGENTS ROOM READINESS
The following classrooms will be utilized during the administration of the NYS Regents:
Second Floor: 225, 229
Third Floor: 319, 321, 323, 325, 327
Fifth Floor: 522, 523, 524, 525, 540, 542, 544, 545
Seventh Floor: 702, 722, 723, 725, 726, 740, 742, 743
Ninth Floor: 902, 906, 921, 923, 925, 940
It is critical that you have your classroom ‘Regents Ready’ by the end of the school day on Monday. Before a test can be given in any room, teachers must prepare the rooms to the following specifications - Please assist all proctors by preparing your classrooms:
● Desks must be arranged in straight rows.
● Teachers must clear desks and shelves under the desks of all books, papers, and other materials.
● Teachers must completely cover or remove all charts or remove maps pertinent any subject matter being tested. Teachers must remove all board work.
