Students who are interested should email Ms. Chavez (rchavez @hsfi.us) to go over the requirements. She will offer after school hours for them to work ALL NEXT WEEK Tues-Wed-Thurs. in order to meet deadline of January 29th.

Nicole Miller Welcomes HSFI!!! Nicole Miller, an iconic fashion designer and business women welcomed The High School of Fashion Industries to her design company on January 13, 2016. Twenty four lucky students were given a behind the scenes tour of the fashion house and learned insider secrets and tips on how to make it in the Fashion Industry. Throughout the interactive tour students were awarded various prizes for answering trivia questions about the designer.
HSFI Students are College Bound!!!
On Wednesday, January 13, 2016, HSFI students spent the morning with Lindsay Rosen, assistant director from recruitment office of Monroe College. During the informational seminar, students were able to complete and submit their college application, and thereby waive the application fee. They also received invaluable information on choosing a major and receiving financial aid. A special thank you to Ms. Serrano for coordinating this event, and thus making the road to college attainable and easier to navigate.
Project Runway Junior Finalist Samantha Cobos
Samantha Cobos, a senior at The High School of Fashion Industries, is a finalist on Project Runway Junior. It is no secret that Ms. Cobos has made it thus far due to her cutting edge fashion sense and refined eye for design.
Project Runway's Junior designers received a once in a lifetime opportunity to have their designs featured and sold on LandsEnd.com. In addition,The winner of "Project Runway: Junior" will receive a full scholarship to the prestigious FIDM in California, a complete home sewing and crafting studio provided by Brother, a feature in Seventeen Magazine and a $25,000 cash prize, to help launch their line.
Samantha is truly a soaring student and we couldn't be more proud of all that she has accomplished. We cannot wait to see what great things await her in the future!
